Dance World is a true Chicago area gem. We are one of the largest social Smooth Ballroom, Latin and Swing dance clubs around. Established in 1983, we are also one of the longest operating clubs. What makes us so successful? Our friendly and dedicated members keep coming back to dance in our spacious facility, hear great music, and have a wonderful time. We respect both time-honored traditions and new ideas. We think you’ll love Dance World.
We adhere to the mask policies of the Hofman Estates Park District. Currently, masks are optional.
Dance World offers a huge hardwood floor.
Our dress code is dressy casual - please no jeans or athletic shoes.
In wet weather, bring some dry shoes for dancing.
Both couples and singles are welcome.
Over 18, please. We attract dancers of all ages! Dance World is also senior-friendly.
Dancers of every skill level, newcomer to advanced can attend this dance.
Tables and chairs are provided for resting or socializing while you're not dancing.
Light refreshments and bottled water are also provided.
Please use the comfortable lobby if you prefer to chat instead of taking the lesson.
We do not sponsor any dance competitions.
Parking is free.
Admission is $10 for members and $15 for guests, all-inclusive.
Membership fee is $20/year. When you join or renew, that night's admission fee is complimentary.
According to many medical professionals, dancing improves overall health and it is strongly recommended.
Dance World is a not-for-profit membership-based organization. The club promotes exposure to dance education and provides a safe and enjoyable social atmosphere. The club encourages active participation of all of its members in the planning of activities and goals of the club.
